Job Title: Podiatrist Specialist

Trust Location: Wigan, Warrington & St Helen’s

Pay Rates: £15.67ph - £25.07ph

Shift Patterns: Early, Lates, Nights, Long Days, Weekends & Bank Holidays

We are currently seeking experienced Podiatrist Specialist to provide a high quality, responsive service for patients in and around the Wigan, Warrington an St Helen’s community.

What you’ll be responsible for 

  • To work in community clinics and on domiciliary visits, providing podiatry care to a variety of clients
  • Work independently without direct supervision in the community, acute and a hospital setting.
  • To provide a high standard of podiatric care.
  • To assess diagnose develop and implement individual podiatric care treatment plans for patients who are predominately high risk.  To organise and manage their own individual clinical workload.
  • To provide professional advice and support to locum podiatrists and students.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above. 

You’ll need to have the following qualification/experience:

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Podiatrist Specialist environment within a similar setting in the last 3 years 
  • Comply with Professional Registration and keep up to date with current practices 
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance registration guidelines
  • Undertake regular mandatory training 

*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
